Check out this crazy transformation from Coach Jelena and her client Dyane!
Jelena says:
Dyane and I have been working together for just over a year now. She initially came to me with the goals of losing weight and learning how to lift weights with proper form and confidence.
As a busy nurse working 12-hour shifts and a mother of two, finding time for consistent workouts and meal prep felt overwhelming. Like many, she struggled to build a routine that fit her lifestyle and support her goals.
We focused on creating a sustainable, realistic plan tailored to her day-to-day life. We began with a primer phase designed to prime her body for fat loss, which set the stage for long-term success. From there, we transitioned into a fat loss phase that lasted about nine months, including strategic diet breaks along the way.
During this time, Dyane lost an incredible 30 pounds of body fat.
Her training consisted of resistance-type of workouts at home using dumbbells and lifting with progressive overload to maintain muscle mass. We incorporated some circuit-style training as well for a cardio effect since Dyane did not have cardio equipment at home. She also stayed consistent with daily movement, aiming for 10,000 steps each day.
Over time, Dyane built a strong foundation in weight training and developed excellent technique. Eventually, she outgrew her home setup which is always a great sign of progress.
Following her fat loss phase, we transitioned into a reverse diet, gradually increasing her calorie intake while shifting focus toward building muscle and enhancing her physique. Most recently, Dyane joined a gym, giving her access to more equipment and new opportunities to continue progressing.
