IMPORTANT NOTICE
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
First class is Wednesday September 2
Classes are all changed to Monday and Wednesday and Saturday mornings
Class times will remain the same just different days
Monday and Wednesday
6-7 pm kids class
7-8 pm family class
Saturday morning
9-10 am kids class
10-11 am family class
Classes will start on Wednesday September 2 2026
September testing will be Wednesday September 30 starting at 6 pm if there is enough interest

First up newtons tournament in Toronto
The deadline to register is October 19 and our annual tournament in Brooklyn on Saturday October 24
Our tournament is open to all ages and belt levels
Remember everyone under the age of 18 excluding black belts will receive a guaranteed two metals
Please I would like to have all my students compete to help support our school and other schools
You CAN start filling out the registration forms on line asap but no payment till after September
We are accepting new students she’s 5 and up including adults plus I will continue my new student special which is 2 months of training and a free uniform for only $115 plus tax

Dear Masters and Instructors,

On behalf of Jim’s Taekwon-Do, I would like to invite you and your students to participate in the 10th Annual Valley Open Taekwon-Do Tournament, taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at West Hants Middle School, 8009 Highway 14, Newport, Nova Scotia.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Valley Open, and we are looking forward to welcoming Taekwon-Do schools and competitors from across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for a great day of competition, sportsmanship, and friendship.

Advance registration and payment must be received no later than October 21, 2026.

Registration Fees:
• Two events – $55
• Three events – $60
• Door registration – additional $10

Payments for advance registration can be sent by e-transfer to [email protected]. Please include the competitor’s name in the comments section.

Registration will also be available at the tournament between8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Payment at the door must be made by cash and there will be an additional $10 fee to register at the door. Please note that anyone who has not registered by 9:30 a.m.will not be able to compete.

Spectator admission is $5.

Also, attached you will find a comlete package that you can post in your dojang and share with your students via email.

We hope you will join us and bring your students out to help celebrate the 10th Annual Valley Open. Your continued support and participation are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing everyone on October 24th.
