Mikkie is a mother of 4, a Certified Holistic/Sports Nutritionist, BCRPA Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist and a Pelvic Floor Specialist. In the last few years she wanted to give herself a challenge in a sport she never tried. "Body Building," Competing in Figure and Fitness, winning her class in Fitness in 2007 as well as winning the BCRPA Personal Tra

iner Award 2006. Mikkie specializes in nutrition and weight loss as well as weight gain. The key to success is diet plus exercise. She was born with a birth defect in her lower back and knows the delicate manner which traumas needs to be trained needs to be trained. Mikkie also works with clients who have early stages of Parkinson's Disease, incontinence issues, and of course Pre/Postnatal women.

One of our amazing online clients finally got to come check out the gym in person!

After 1.5 years crushing the online workout completely from home Arlene is getting ready to compete in the New You category with the WNBF bodybuilding competition this weekend. After being with us for 3 of DEEMs Biggest Loser challenges she ready to kick butt on stage!! 🥳🥳

Living with Parkinson’s and looking for a supportive community to help you stay active? ⬇️

PWR! (Parkinson Wellness Recovery) is a specialized exercise program designed to help improve strength, balance, mobility, and overall quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s.

Using evidence-based movements specifically developed to address Parkinson’s symptoms, participants can build confidence, improve functional movement, and stay active in a welcoming group environment.

⏰ Starting June 8th, classes run every Monday and Wednesday at 11:00 AM for 6 weeks.

☀️ JUNE: Strength Challenge
Compete against other members for your 1-rep PR in:
• Leg press
• Bench press
• Bicep curl
• Row

☀️ JULY: Quadrathlon
Complete (indoors or outdoors):
• Run/walk 50km
• Bike 50km
• Row 15km
• Climb 760 flights on stairmaster

☀️ AUGUST: Skipping
Prepare for ‘s 12-hour skipathon at the end of the month!! Rules: SOMEONE in your team (DEEM Health) must be skipping during the 12 hour period! Practice all of august for this event 🥵
