A very happy Brea who won her 1st Gold medal in the SB 6 sport class at the Ken Demchuk International Swim meet in Markum, Ontario. Brea swam a PB time of 2:07.74 in the 100 m Breaststroke.
Brea also swam a personal best time in the 400 m Freestyle, shaving off more than 7 seconds and the 50 m Freestyle shaving off more than 1 second.
We just finished a two day camp organized by Swim Ontario. What an amazing experience.

There are no limits for my amazing athletes. Today was VKSC Swim-A-Thon day, 2500 m of non stop swimming.
2 weeks ago they swam their first 1500 m and now they swam 2500 m.
After a breakfast, we went back in the pool and worked on all the required classification skills.

Time really flies. It feels like yesterday. 8 years of coaching these amazing girls.

Swimming season 2022/2023

Perseverance, training hard, pushing each other, dedication, believing in yourself, inspiration, motivation, physiotherapy, stretching, building confidence and enjoying the sport of swimming are all factors that contributed to our success we experienced in and outside of the pool.
We swam many new Canadian Para records, made new Western time standards, we won many Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at Nationals and Provincials.
What team work can do! I am so proud of everybody that contributed to this success. Swimmers, parents, coaches, physiotherapists, Psych-K sessions and Kisu Swim Club for all their support. I hope you all enjoy your well deserved break and enjoy your time away from the pool. Get reenergized and get ready for the 2023/2024 swimmings season.

What a day. In finals Jacob shaved off another second off his Canadian S2 Para Men LC record.
With a PB time of 1:46.92 and winning the Gold medal.
The old record was from
1995, so finally 28 years later!
After the doping control Jacob swam on a 20 point relay. 3 x S6 swimmers and Jacob as an S2.
This was a super fun day!!

Behind the scenes….

We always post about our athletes making a new time standards, winning a medal or making a Canadian team. Behind the scenes we have all the hours of training, stretching, massage, mental training, you don’t get to see.
I always love the road we need to take to become successful in and out of the sport.
My biggest award is to see the joy and proud in my athletes eyes when they make that new standard, win a medal or swim a new Canadian record.
