We’ve recently enhanced Beaver Lake in Stanley Park so perhaps it’s time to visit. Why?
🦆 It’s an important wetland with rich diversity of wildlife, including birds and beavers.
🌲 It’s surrounded by mature coniferous forest and easily accessed by various modes of transportation.
🚶1 km trail (with viewing platforms and benches) encircles the lake offering a great place to walk, job, or relax.
🙏It’s of cultural and spiritual importance to the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh.

Improvements have been made to the outflow in order to control flooding from beaver activity. More info at https://bit.ly/3l9fFw6
