3 grip variations for the front squat 👇

1️⃣ Rack position - clean grip
▪️Clean grip in rack position
▪️Fingers under the bar
▪️Upper arm points straight out from shoulders
▪️Elbows stay high
▪️Optimal way to front squat if there are no restrictions in the shoulders or wrists

2️⃣ Cross Grip
▪️Best for those with wrist and mobility issues
▪️Upper arms are held straight out from the shoulders, but arms are crossed
▪️Hands sit on top of the bar

3️⃣ Strap Grip
▪️Best for those with both wrist and shoulder mobility issues
▪️Use traditional lifting straps wrapped around the bar, shoulder width apart
▪️Gripping the straps allows grip to be above the bar which requires less shoulder and wrist mobility

Regardless of which grip you use:
▫️Keep the elbows high
▫️Maintain an upright torso
▫️Allow the knees to travel forward

Which of these have you tried? Tag or share with someone who might benefit from this 🙌
