Just 30 minutes from Calgary, Oxbow is a cozy 9-hole course just outside Strathmore with a relaxed, country feel. A 9 hole gem just outside of Calgary.

Come for the golf, stay for the fresh air, friendly faces, and the occasional mulligan. ⛳️ Complete with campground for tournaments and family functions. Challenging for all skill levels. We hold tournaments, Mens, and Ladies leagues. Junior camps to teach lessons.

It’s been a long winter, and after a delayed start, we’re excited to finally welcome everyone back to the course on Thursday April 30th ⛳️

Tee times are now available to book online. Grab your friends, dust off the clubs, and come kick off the season with us at Oxbow Country Golf Course.

We know many of you are eager to get out on the course, and we truly appreciate all the messages and excitement for the season ahead.

Due to the recent weather and snowfall, we are not open just yet. Our hope is to open sometime this week once the snow has fully melted and we’ve had the chance to properly mow and prepare the course.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we have an official opening date.

Looking to improve your golf game this season?

Golf lessons are available at Oxbow Country Golf Course. Private and group lessons.

⛳ Short Game Lessons (Hourly)
Sharpen your chipping, pitching, and putting at the practice green. These are the shots that can quickly take strokes off your game.

⛳️ On-Course Lessons (9 or 18 Holes)
Learn in real playing situations with guidance on club selection, course management, and smart shot decisions. You’ll also get simple, practical swing tips and short game advice along the way without overcomplicating things.

⛳️ Twosome Option
Come out with a friend — each of you can take turns receiving a 9-hole lesson during an 18-hole round. A great way to learn while still enjoying a full round together.

⛳️ Junior Lessons (Practice Area)
Fun, relaxed lessons for kids focused on fundamentals and building confidence. Small groups of 1–4 juniors per session.

We really appreciate all the support and we’re looking forward to a great year with the kids!

⛳ Junior Golf Lessons are back — and we can’t wait to welcome our young golfers!

At Oxbow Country Golf Course, we love helping kids discover just how fun and rewarding golf can be. Our Junior Program (ages 6–15) is designed to build confidence, teach real skills, and create a positive experience both on and off the course — all in a fun and supportive environment.

📅 Sessions run both in May or June
💲 $155 — includes 4 lessons

🕓 Mondays at 4 PM, 5 PM, or 6 PM

What juniors will experience:
✔ Small group instruction for plenty of personal attention (4 golfers per time slot)
✔ Practice time at the hitting nets and putting green
✔ One on-course lesson to learn real play and etiquette
✔ Fundamentals including grip, swing, chipping, putting, and club use

Whether your child is brand new to golf or looking to improve, we’d love to help them grow their skills and love for the game.
