ll club is the creation of past Club President Greg Appleyard and past Vice-President Vito Peraino. In 2014, together they coached a local junior high school grade 7-8 girl’s volleyball team. The season was a great success as they took a group of girls and made them volleyball players. After the season, they wanted to find a way that allowed players of different skill levels the opportunity to continue to grow as players through prepared and challenging drills and playtime. What was initially a discussion about a school club became a discussion of a community club.

It wasn’t until Lindsay Hall, a teacher at another local junior high school, joined Greg and Vito that the idea of Strathmore Chaos came alive.

IMPORTANT 📣

Chaos 17U and 16U teams will be having a 2nd tryout on Sunday, Sept 6 (9-11am) @ Strathmore High School. This time slot is for both age groups.

All athletes need to be registered with Volleyball Alberta 2027 Youth Development -Tryout to participate. 2026 memberships have now expired.

If you participated in the tryout on Aug 30, you do not need to re-register or pay $20 again.

***Athletes who wish to attend this tryout who did not register/attend the first one, must complete registration and payment of fee prior to the tryout day***

17U will be from 9:00am -11:00am with doors opening at 8:30am.

16U will be from 2:00pm-6:00pm with doors opening at 1:30pm.
