Personally, this is not playing weather for us! However, if you’re family feels the pull to go to the field today just remember this is parent-led and totally your decision! The field will likely be quite the sloppy mess today!

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR THE 2024 SEASON

We are getting excited to start the 2024 season! We have expanded Munchkins to include older ages and we will be facilitating BOTH soccer and T-ball this year.

However, with this expansion we are asking for some donations for new equipment and we will update this registry as we assess our current equipment throughout the season and IF we consider adding other sports.

Currently, we are REALLY looking for bigger soccer nets for our older age groups that can be folded and stored a little bit easier.

If your business donates and would like to be included at the end of our emails and have FREE advertising please reach out to discuss the options we have available. Remember, this is a FREE sports program for kids. It is a great opportunity to introduce or keep kids in sports despite financial limitations. We would really appreciate ANY donations!

Registration is OPEN!!!

We are excited for another season of Munchkins Sports! Please read the information on the pictures for schedule and season info. This season will start May 6th (weather pending) and go until June 28th.

We have two days of soccer and one day of T-ball! Thank you to our new team of organizers and coaches to help get this season organized!

We are BACK!!!

We are excited for another season of Munchkins Sports - Free Sports for Kids in Strathmore - that's right, FREE sports for kids.

However, FREE comes with the price of parent-led organization, coaching and presence in the season.

We have some new members of the organization team, which is thrilling! We are extending the age groups for soccer and looking forward to the coaching and organization assistance this year.

HOWEVER - We are looking for parents who have a love of T-Ball and want to introduce it to their kids and MANY other kids in our amazing town. This would involve some assistance with structuring the age groups and sessions as well as hands on assistance on Monday's and/or Wednesday's to facilitate T-Ball. Please message us if you would like more information!

Thank you to all who came out our first week! I got a lot of great feedback on what went well and what I need to focus my attention on! I am excited for the coming weeks!

After some requests for some structure for donations, I have set up a GoFundMe page to keep it really easy to accept donations. Also, this way it can be easily shared and I can communicate our fundraising goals as they change. I set the bar pretty high for the fundraising goal because I am trying to lock in some spots for us to run this program into the fall and winter and I would need to rent facilities to do this.
