Calling all Showgirl & Heels dancers! You don’t want to miss this amazing opportunity to learn from Halena Lou 😍
It’s time to bevel, kick, and hit those poses! In this pop-up, Halena will draw on her 20+ years of dance training and her experience dancing in a professional cabaret company in Vancouver to break down key jazz and heels technique for that showpony look and feel in your dancing. A perfect add-on for heels dancers and burlesque performers alike!
Class will include: body warm up, skill-building, and a Rockette-style combo.
Please bring: any dance heels or character shoes.
BIO: Halena Lou (she/her) is a dancer and burlesque performer born & raised in Regina and based in BC’s Lower Mainland. As a burlesque artist, she has performed from Victoria to Halifax and from Whitehorse to Panama, bringing her brand of heart-centered yet bold burlesque to audiences far and wide. Halena has also can-canned across the continent with burlesque troupe Can Can Classique and dances professionally with The Lolas Showgirls and Zynth & Co in Vancouver.
