It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, Bruce Howard.
Some people leave a mark that simply cannot be replaced, and Bruce was one of those people.
Bruce had been part of DVC since its inception. His hands quite literally helped build this range, and his knowledge, dedication and friendship helped shape DVC into what it is today. He wasn’t just part of DVC’s history — he was part of its foundation.
Bruce was a wealth of knowledge in the fi****ms industry and had a genuine passion for the sport. Whether sharing his expertise at DVC, enjoying time as an avid member of his shotgun range, fishing, fixing something, building something, or simply helping someone who needed it, Bruce was always there.
And if you knew Bruce, you probably knew about his love for peanut butter cookies. As much as he loved them, somehow he always shared. That was Bruce. Generous in the big things and the little things.
Above everything else, Bruce was a devoted husband to his wife, Suzanne, and a loving father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him.
The fi****ms community has lost an incredible source of knowledge and experience. DVC has lost a piece of its heart. And so many of us have lost a truly wonderful friend.
Bruce, thank you for everything you taught us, everything you built alongside us, every time you showed up when we needed you, and every laugh and memory along the way. We are better for having known you, and DVC will forever carry a piece of you within its walls.
Your hands helped build this place, but it was your heart that made a lasting impression on all of us.
You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. ❤️
