We are a child development center using martial arts to help you child become the best version of themselves. Welcome to Excel Martial Arts Port Coquitlam, where our goal is to help you become the very best version of you. Richard McIlmoyl and our team of highly skilled and enthusiastic instructors have been teaching age based martial arts classes at their Broadway Street location since 2011. We a

re active partners in the community, supporting and fundraising for the local school district, KidsSport, Cops for Cancer, Tri City Transitions and many other local organizations. Our system uses age based classes to teach a blend of traditional and modern martial arts styles that focus on keeping our members safe and healthy both in and out of the training center. Our system is built by child development experts, and mental wellness professionals in corroboration with incredible martial artists and leaders. We hire local teens and adults and train them professionally through our own Instructor Academy, as well as seminars and events taught by 4th and 5th Degree Black Belts along with clinical counsellors, kinesiologists, and other health care professionals. At Excel, we promote participation, as well as honesty and integrity, as a means to discovering one's greatness. Martial arts training supports positive development of self-confidence and self-esteem, while improving physical fitness and mental wellness. Through Integration of both traditional and contemporary martial arts disciplines, along with our character Development program , EMA offers a holistic martial arts program for children, adults and families. Calling all moms! Come celebrate Mother's Day with an unforgettable bonding experience with your child. Whether your child is a member or not, bring your child and join them on the mat. Come dressed in comfortable gym clothes and bring a water bottle.

Moms of Members come at your child's regular class time.

Non-members - if your child is 3.5-5 ~ 9:45-10:25 am
if your child is 6 and over ~ 10:25-11:15 am
