Mini Rugby kicks off next Wednesday! There is still time to register the kiddos if they want to come try a new sport. No special equipment or previous experience needed. $45 for 6-9y/os and $50 for ages 10-15. This fee covers all 11 weeks, as well as a T-shirt to take home.

Don’t let the snow fool you, just two weeks to go until we kick off our 2026 Mini and Flag Rugby programs. There is NO Flag rugby tonight at Yara, we will be back April 15th!

Mini Rugby (ages 6-9) will start April 15th,6pm at Yara Center, and Flag (Ages 10 to 15) will run right after it, 7pm, also at Yara Center. Perfect for either first time or returning players. No special equipment or previous experience required!

Only $45 for the Minis and $50 for Flag for the entire 11 week program.

Just over a month to go, our 2026 season starts on April 15th! We’ll be running two age groups again this year, ages 6-9...

Just over a month to go, our 2026 season starts on April 15th!

We’ll be running two age groups again this year, ages 6-9 and 10-15. Kids in our 6-9 age groups will use a variety of fun mini games to teach the core rugby skills to our new players, and help reinforce good rugby habits in our returning players. Our 10-15 age group will use the core skills to learn the non-contact version of Flag Rugby.

All sessions are on Wednesday evenings, and both programs are open to boys and girls and would be suitable for first time players as well. In April we will be inside at Yara Center, with Mini (6-9) from 6-6:45 and Flag (10-15) from 7-8. May and June will be outside at Moose Square Park, with Mini from 5:30-6:15 and Flag from 6:30-7:30. No equipment is needed, just come dressed to run and ready to have fun!

Looking for a new sport? Looking to get out of the house this winter? Come join us and give flag rugby a try. Tuesday evenings at the Yara Center from 7-8pm we’ll be playing non-contact flag rugby. If you’ve never played before or you haven’t played in a while this is the perfect way to get into the game. Use the links below to register!

Our season kicks off Feb. 10th and runs until March 24th. Open to both Adults (19+, $50 for 7 weeks) and teens born 2011-2013 ($90 for 18 weeks, includes spring outdoor sessions in April-June) Questions? Send us a message or email [email protected]

If you’re out and about this Saturday in Moose Jaw, stop into the Yara Center between noon and 5pm to catch the U of R Cougars Women’s Rugby team in action. cougarswrugby are hosting a 7’s Rugby tournament. It’s a great chance to watch some rugby right here in Moose Jaw. Games are only about 15 min long, so you can drop in, watch a game or two and then enjoy your day.

If you or your kids are curious about rugby this is a great way to watch it live!
