The weather doesn't always cooperate. But we kept at it. Burned more fuel and miles scouting a bigger area and were rewarded with great hunts and a great week.

How did you spend your vacation days this Spring? I spent mine in a blind watching beautiful Saskatchewan Prairie sunrises with a long time friend. We hunted snow geese in a New area, met some great people and made some new friends. We will be back next year making more new friends and memories!

Potholes Marinate Goose

I don't know who originally came up with this receipe, but my Mom always called it Potholes Marinated Goose..

1 goose breast,
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Honey
2-4 Tbsp Wine Vinegar
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp chopped garlic
2 bay leaves

Filet the breasts, slice into 3 pieces horizontally
Marinate for 24-36 hours
BBQ on a HOT grill.

I haven't met anyone yet who doesnt like this.. Enjoy.. .
