Tournament Cancellation Announcement
A Difficult Announcement — and a Big Thank You ❤️
Unfortunately, we have some disappointing news to share. Two more teams have had to withdraw from this year’s tournament, leaving us below the number of teams needed to cover the costs of putting on the event.
As much as we hate to do it, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s tournament. This is the first time in 9 years that we’ve had to cancel, and it certainly wasn’t a decision we made lightly. As a fundraiser, our priority is making sure the event raises money for the athletes we are supporting—not putting the fundraiser at risk of losing money or falling short of the expenses needed to run it.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who made plans to attend, participate, volunteer, or support the event. We know many of you were looking forward to it, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment.
That said, we want to focus on the positive! For 9 years, you have shown up, supported us, and helped us raise money for these incredible athletes. We are beyond grateful for every team, sponsor, volunteer, participant, friend, and family member who has been part of this journey. ❤️
We’re already looking forward to next year and coming back stronger for our 9th/10th Annual Tournament!
