Does it sometimes feel like you’re chasing joy, but it keeps slipping away?

When the world feels heavy, it is so easy to fall into the trap of thinking, “If I just book that trip or start that new hobby, I’ll finally feel better.”

But joy isn’t a reward we have to earn—it’s actually a little shift in how we look at our day.

Here are a few gentle ways to invite a little more light into your life:

🩵 Savour the small stuff: Let your morning coffee get your full attention, or really lose yourself in your favorite song.

🩵 Bring on the play: Turn boring chores into a silly game, or put on a fun playlist while you fold laundry.

🩵 Drop the perfection: Whether you are cooking, crafting, or journaling today, focus on how it makes you feel rather than making it look perfect.

🩵 Time travel a bit: Spend a few minutes smiling over an old favorite memory, or plan one small thing to look forward to this coming week.

Joy doesn’t have to be a massive, life-changing emotion. Sometimes, it’s just a quiet moment of comfort right where you are.

•Move with intention. Trade intense workouts for stretching.

•Protect your energy. Say “no” without feeling guilty.
