This 2025-26 season, we had 10 athletes at levels 6-9 who were trying to qualify for the Provincial Championships and GREAT NEWS - ALL 10 made it!!!
Dhani Shah competed in Level 6, 15+ years old. Dhani demonstrated very good gymnastics and placed 15th on vault, 17th on bars, 24th on beam, 12th on the floor and 25th ALL AROUND.
Kaitlyn Martinez competed in level 7, 13-14 years old. Kaitlyn demonstrated a great deal of consistency and placed 16th on vault, 12th on bars, 16th on beam, 20th on the floor and 20th ALL AROUND.
Jillian Chow competed in level 7, 13-14 years old. Jillian had a great start, but midway through the meet, she couldn't handle her nerves and made serious mistakes on bars and beam. She placed 7th on vault, 23rd on bars, 12th on beam, 9th on floor, and 19th ALL AROUND.
Ella Brown competed in level 7, 13-14 years old. Ella demonstrated a great deal of confidence and consistency, placing 19th on vault, 18th on bars, 4th on beam, 4th on the floor and 10th ALL AROUND. Ella received a special award on the FLOOR for her mastery of floor artistry!!!
Natalie McInerney competed in Level 7, 13-14 years old. Natalie started this season as a level 6 athlete, but halfway through the season, she decided to challenge herself and moved to level 7!!! She qualified for the championships in the new level and demonstrated great confidence during the meet!!! Natalie placed 12th on vault, 7th on bars, 4th on beam, 15th on the floor and 7th ALL AROUND.
VAnnie Warren competed in level 7, 13-14 years old. Annie demonstrated great focus and determination during this meet. She placed 6th on vault, 5th on bars, 8th on beam, 11th on the floor and 4th ALL AROUND. Annie received a special award on VAULT for the flight and tight!!! Annie is the first alternate for Team Ontario for the Eastern Championships, May 14-18th in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Jayda Elmoazamy competed in level 7 , 15+ years old. Jayda had consistent first two events, but couldn't handle nerves and made a serious mistake on bars. But then she had a great performance on beam. Jayda placed 24th on vault, 26th on bars, 6th on beam, 19th on floor, and 30th ALL AROUND.
Rylee Chan competed in level 8, 13-14 years old. Rylee struggled with the flu throughout the season, missed the last two qualifiers, and also had a wrist injury. She started training only 4 weeks before the championships, but she demonstrated great determination and confidence during the competition. She placed 23rd on vault, 15th on bars, 2nd on beam, 13th on the floor and 15th ALL AROUND. Rylee received a special award on the FLOOR for her mastery of floor artistry!!!
Joie Clarke competed in level 9 , 15+ years old. Joie had three very good events, but she had an unfortunate fall off the beam. She placed 16th on vault , 9th on bars, 22nd on beam , 9th on the floor and 17th ALL AROUND. Joie received a special award fly sky high on BARS!!!
Alexia Campbell competed in level 9 , 15+ years old. Alexia was very nervous, but she managed this meet without major mistakes, placing 5th on vault, 14th on bars, 10th on beam, 5th on the floor and 7th ALL ROUND. Alexia earned a spot on Team Ontario and will represent the province at the Eastern Championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick, from May 14th to 18th.
