But one of the most valuable skills a player can develop is communication.

📣 Bill Johnstone Appointed as Head Coach – Boys & Transitional Phase Director (U16 – U21).

RMSC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bill Johnstone as Head Coach, Boys, and Transitional Phase Director.

In this role, Bill will support the on-field boys’ programming from U8 to U15 and lead our U16 to U21 age groups as Transitional Phase Director, guiding players on their journey from youth to adult soccer.

“Bill has been an integral part of the community for many years. He has extensive knowledge of soccer in the region and brings with him a wealth of experience to support both our younger boys’ programs and older youths on their pathway to adult soccer. Bill knows the people and the community, and we are delighted to have him as part of the RMSC family” said Paul Turner, Sporting Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Onfield Boys Training sessions and gamedays
- Support Foundation Phase & Development Phase Directors
- Oversee, Manage and Support U16 to U21 Teams, Players, Coaches and Families

Fall registration for Ridge Rascals is NOW OPEN! ⚽️

Designed for boys and girls born 2020–2022 (U5–U7), Ridge Rascals is an 8-week indoor soccer program where young players can build confidence, learn new skills and discover how much fun it is to get moving.

Through playful drills, interactive games and age-appropriate coaching, our Rascals will work on coordination, agility, teamwork and soccer fundamentals, all in a positive, welcoming environment.

⚽️ Beginner + intermediate friendly

🙌 Led by qualified, experienced coaches

📣 RMSC is excited to announce the appointment of Georgia Venhola as Head Coach, Girls.

In this role, Georgia will support girls’ programming from U8 to U15, provide mentorship to female players and volunteer coaches, coordinate gamedays and training sessions within our Foundation and Development Phase.

Georgia will also lead our 2015 Div1a Performance Pathway Girls program as we prepare this age group for future involvement in our BCSPL and Division 1 programming at U14.

Georgia is also familiar with the Ridge Meadows community as a teacher at Pitt Meadows Secondary School .

“I’m really pleased Georgia has joined us at RMSC. She has a fantastic playing and coaching background, and I am excited for our girls to meet her and begin working with her on the field.” said Paul Turner, Sporting Director.

📣Teresa Musgrave Appointed as Female Coach Development Mentor!

RMSC is proud to announce that Teresa Musgrave has moved into a new role as Female Coach Development Mentor.

Teresa has been an integral part of the RMSC family for many years, supporting multiple programs, players, coaches and parents throughout her time with the club. As a program leader, Teresa has demonstrated strong leadership, and in this new role, she will provide support to all our female coaches.

We also would like to congratulate Teresa has also recently completed the Canada Soccer B-Diploma as part of the Canada Soccer AccelerateHER program.

“We are incredibly proud to have Teresa as part of our Technical Department. Over the past five years, Teresa has played a vital role supporting our U8 to U10 players and teams during an accelerated growth period for the club. In this new position, Teresa will specify support and mentor our female volunteer coaches, staff coaches, and apprentice coaches,” said Paul Turner, Sporting Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support female coaches within all Program Phases
- Lead Female workshops and educational sessions
- Promote inclusivity and growth of female coaching at RMSC

The backpacks are packed... now it’s time to get soccer ready! 📚⚽

As the new school year approaches, it’s the perfect time to check off the essentials for another exciting season on the pitch. From making sure the cleats still fit to packing a water bottle and bringing a positive attitude, a little preparation goes a long way.

At RMSC, we’re looking forward to another season of confidence, friendships, skill development, and fun for players of all ages and abilities.
