The Dance Gallery Recognized as the Premier Competitive Dance Studio in Kamloops BC, offering a range of styles including R.A.D. We are located near bus routes and shopping.

Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-hop and Stage through comprehensive training focused on technique, performance, and artistic expression. The Dance Gallery opened it's doors in September 1995 under the direction of Maureen Duggan. Since that time, the studio has grown and flourished, adding both staff and students. For 15 years, dance has been a huge part of Cayleigh’s life, helping shape the confident, hardworking, and determined young woman she is today.

This fall, Cayleigh is heading to UBC Okanagan to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with plans to continue on to the University of Victoria to earn her Juris Doctor degree. We know her future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes.

One of Cayleigh’s favourite dance memories was performing her lyrical solo at age 15 during her first year of competitive dance. That season, she received a Judge’s Special Award at Shine—a moment that remains especially meaningful to her and one that reflected the dedication and passion she brought to the stage.

Cayleigh has always approached dance with commitment, grace, and heart. Whether in class, rehearsal, or performance, she has been a wonderful teammate and role model, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

Cayleigh, thank you for sharing your love of dance with us. We are so proud of everything you have achieved and excited to watch you take on this next chapter. Congratulations on your graduation and best of luck as you begin your journey at UBCO!

15 years of dance, countless memories, and one unforgettable personality.

Congratulations to our beautiful graduate, Amaya! We are so proud of the incredible dancer, leader, and person you have become over the years at The Dance Gallery.

Amaya’s contagious laughter, expressive performances, and larger-than-life personality have brought so much joy to our studio. She has always been a natural performer — lighting up the stage every single time she danced. From the moment she stepped into the studio, it was clear she had something special.

Not only has she been an incredible dancer, but also an amazing role model as a teacher assistant for many years. Her patience, kindness, and positivity made such an impact on so many little dancers who looked up to her every week.

Amaya’s hard work and dedication have also been recognized beyond the studio, being selected for Provincials two years in a row. We are especially proud that she is currently in Prince George competing as a Stage III competitor at The BC Provincials! What an amazing way to finish her competitive dance journey. 👏🏻

As she graduates, Amaya will be heading to UBC to pursue a Bachelor of Science with dreams of becoming a Crime Scene Investigator — and we know she will bring the same passion, determination, and heart into this next chapter.

Amaya, thank you for the amazing years. Your DG family will miss you more than you know. We cannot wait to see all the incredible things your future holds. 🤍

For 16 years, Sarah has called The Dance Gallery home, and it’s hard to imagine our studio without her. From a tiny dancer growing up in our halls to becoming an incredible role model, teacher, and teacher assistant, Sarah has left such a lasting impact on our studio family.

Over the years, she has shared her love of dance with so many younger dancers — always leading with patience, kindness, encouragement, and a smile. Whether she was helping in classes, assisting backstage, or teaching her own students, Sarah brought such warmth and positivity to every room she walked into. She has been someone our dancers looked up to and someone our staff could always count on.

Sarah is currently in Prince George after being selected as an alternate for BC Provincials with her incredible solos this season — such an amazing accomplishment and so well deserved. We are beyond proud of all of the hard work, dedication, and passion she has poured into dance over the years, and it has been so special watching her shine on stage.

As Sarah graduates, we are so excited to watch her begin this next chapter at UBCO, where she plans to pursue her Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Sciences, with hopes of continuing into physiotherapy. We know her passion for helping others and her dedication will take her so far.

Sarah, thank you for 16 beautiful years of memories, leadership, kindness, and love at the DG. You will be missed more than words can say, but we are so proud of the amazing young woman you have become.
