Today, flags at City facilities are at half-mast in recognition of the National Day of Remembrance of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

Observed each year on April 9, this day honours the Canadians who served and sacrificed during the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917. We remember the courage, sacrifice and service of those who fought, and we reflect on the lasting impact of their actions. Lest we forget.

We are still looking for a couple of Volunteers for the Casino. Count room Supervisor April 13th 11pm-3:15 am, and a spare if someone can not make it.
