Part of a fitness journey is learning a balance of activity that works right for you. You can't pour from an empty cup, and all parts of your life from work, kids, travel, fitness, and other stress affect what you have to give. You're human, you're going to get tired but in order to avoid getting burnt out, you have to prioritize rest and recovery.
Recognize when the desire to quit something creeps in. Can't handle 5 days a week at the gym? Don't quit coming altogether, scale it back to 4 days, try and get an extra 30 minutes of sleep, try and implement some mindfulness practice in to your routine. Find ways to complement your hard work with intentional rest, your body and mind will thank you.
