Spring camp starts Monday!

The first two weeks will be filled with skills and drills without equipment. It is geared for beginners and is a perfect time for students in Grade 7 and 8 to learn what football is all about.

The final two weeks will be full gear and open to those going into Grade 9 and up who are interested in playing in the fall.

We welcome any players interested in playing football!

First two weeks are geared towards beginners and students in grades 7-8 welcome! We will be focusing on skills and will be practicing without equipment.

The second two weeks are for those interested in playing in the fall and will be full equipment (provided). Those going into grade 9 and up are welcome.

There will be no practice on the Victoria Day holiday.

The snow melting and the field greening it’s time to think football!!!

We will be running our spring camp from May 4-May 29 from 6-8pm every evening at the FFHS football field.

The first two weeks players going into grade 7 and up are welcome. The coaches will be focusing on fundamental skills and drill without equipment and will be more geared to those who are new to football. This is a perfect time for players wanting to see what football is all about.

The second two weeks are for players going into grade 9 and up and will involve full equipment. If you are wanting to play in the fall this is the perfect opportunity for you! There will be no camp on the Victoria Day holiday May 18th.

We will have a black and gold game on the 29th for the players to showcase their skills!

The Muskie Touchdown Club would like to honour the memory of Dean Bruyere. Dean was an integral part of our football family for many years, first as a player in the C program from 1970-1972 and then on the high school team from 1973-1977. Later Dean’s passion for the game was instrumental in keeping the C program going as one of the coaches. He also shared his love of the game coaching the senior team as well. He touched the lives of many team mates and players, inspiring them to become better people on and off the field.

He never missed a homecoming, cheering us on as an alumni. We will miss him. Our deepest condolences to his loved ones ♥️🏈

While this season didn’t end the way we hoped, it was still a season of growth, team work and grit and determination.

We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to all of the caregivers, fans, sponsors, players, and coaches for a strong season. None of this happens without this community coming together, leading by example, volunteering, showing up, cheering loudly, and putting in the effort day after day. There is so much hard work behind the scenes and outside of game day that does not go unnoticed. From the hard work at practice, to the water boy who keeps the players hydrated, to those who film the games both for hudl and to stream to fans unable to be there. To the fundraising and simply showing up in the community. It all contributes to a great season.

This team is truly a family and we are so proud that because of everyone’s dedication we are able to keep football accessible to all who want to play.

To our seniors we wish you good luck wherever the future takes you. Your leadership and passion for the game has fueled the team for next year.

Don’t worry we will be back next year hungrier than ever.
