The Lakers have signed Braydon Cameron for the 2026-27 season. The defenseman has spent the past three seasons playing high school hockey for the Miles Macdonell Collegiate Buckeyes.

"Braydon came to us this summer as a complete unknown from high school hockey in Manitoba," said Lakers Head Coach/GM, Luke Judson. "He travelled to Fort Frances to attend our summer ice, and immediately impressed the coaching staff with his confidence with the puck, skating ability, and hockey sense."

"We're confident that Braydon has the tools to be an excellent junior player, and I'm looking forward to seeing him in purple."

Jace Griffin has committed to the Lakers this season.

The defenseman from Cold Spring, MN spent last season with the NA3HL's Bozeman Ice Dogs, scoring 28 points in 45 games.

"Jace is a talented multi-sport athlete who had a successful rookie season in the NA3HL last year," said Lakers Head Coach/GM, Luke Judson.

"He is ready for a new challenge in Junior A hockey. Jace will bring a two-way, physical game to an already stingy defensive group."
