🏒 **A Meaningful Day at the NJHL ID Camps**

Today, I had the opportunity to attend the **NJHL Professional and Amateur ID Camps**, where athletes competed for opportunities connected to teams in **Alberta and Minnesota**.

I would like to sincerely thank all the team owners, head coaches, assistant coaches, and league representatives who took the time to meet and speak with me. The conversations were extremely valuable and reflected a shared commitment to improving how athletes are evaluated, supported, and developed.

On behalf of **PAM Performance Technologies Inc. and Pro Athlete Metrics®**, we are looking forward to beginning this work with the **National Junior Hockey League** and helping establish a consistent, measurable standard for athlete development.

Our objective is to connect performance testing, objective data, development benchmarks, ongoing monitoring, and hockey expertise—creating a stronger pathway for athletes as they work toward junior and professional opportunities.

We’re excited to begin another chapter of collaboration between PAM Performance Technologies Inc., Pro Athlete Metrics® and the NJHL.

With NJHL training camps beginning August 29–30, we’re looking forward to getting back into the performance environment with the athletes, coaches and organizations as they prepare for the upcoming season.

For us, this is about much more than testing.

It’s about using objective performance data, benchmarking and ongoing athlete tracking to better understand development, identify opportunities for improvement and measure progress throughout the season.

We’re proud of the opportunity to work alongside the NJHL and its member organizations and to continue bringing performance technology and measurable athlete development into junior hockey.

Training camp is just the beginning.

We live our entire lives through numbers—whether we recognize it or not.

We measure time, distance, hydration, sleep, heart rate, money, risk and performance. Businesses depend on measurable results. Financial markets operate on data.

Yet in grassroots athlete development, we often abandon the same principle we trust everywhere else:

**Measurement.**

I started playing at six years old in Poland and grew up inside a European development environment where progression had consequences. Over the years, working across sport, high-performance environments and financial markets taught me something important:

The difference between participation and performance is **accountability supported by evidence.**

In a pay-to-play model, the cycle can become:

**Pay → Participate → Play → Repeat**

In a performance-driven environment:

**Develop → Measure → Compare → Perform → Advance**

That changes the conversation.

Instead of asking:

**“Why do we need all this data?”**

We should be asking:

**“How do we use data to make better development decisions?”**

That is **Performance Intelligence.**

Where is the athlete today?
Where should they be?
What is the performance gap?
What intervention do they need?
Did it work?
What happens next?
