Please welcome our newest head coach to CAC Hockey.

"Coach Greg Crawford or just “Coach Greg” as he has been known for over 25 years, has been coaching with CAC for the last 10 seasons with the U18AAA and U17AAA programs. Greg is one of the lead instructors with the CAC Summer Camps. He also teaches youth coach development programs with Hockey Alberta during the season.

In the last two seasons, Greg was an assistant coach with the U17AAA Canadians that appeared in back-to-back AB Provincial Championships Gold Medal games winning the championship in 2025-26.

Greg brings a wealth of experience focused on high-tempo skill progression, creating hockey sense, and fostering team chemistry. He is dedicated to preparing your athletes for the next competitive level while building lifelong leadership skills.

Big news out of the WHL Draft! 🚨🏒

Congratulations to CAC U15AAA player Fletcher MacDonald on being selected 9th overall by the Regina Pats in the 2026 WHL Entry Draft.

A top-10 pick is an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of Fletcher’s hard work, talent, and commitment to the game. This is a proud moment for Fletcher, his family, teammates, coaches, and everyone who has supported him along the way.

The Regina Pats are getting an outstanding player and an even better competitor. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.

Dear Families,

The Canadian Athletic Club is excited to host our annual Welcome to the CAC Hockey Club Event on Monday, February 16, 2026.

This event is designed to introduce new families to the CAC program and environment. Players will participate in an on-ice session, while parents attend off-ice presentations to learn more about the CAC arena, development model, and overall program structure.

The on-ice sessions will be led by CAC Mentor Coach Tony Orsini, assisted by other CAC coaches and current CAC players. The practice will showcase the development drills and skills players can expect to experience as part of the CAC program.

The parent sessions will provide an overview of CAC’s philosophy, expectations, and what families can look forward to throughout the season.

Event Details:

Open to new players to CAC in the U11 and U13 categories for the 2026–2027 season

Registration is limited, so early registration is encouraged

A $10.00 fee is required to hold your spot

Registration opens January 17, 2026 and closes February 6, 2026

Players will be notified of their assigned ice times on February 12, 2026

The first 1-hour session will begin at 3:00 PM
