Thinking about getting your kids into swimming this season? Come check us out at our AGM on September 9th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the back room of the Ponoka Aquaplex! We’d love to meet new swimmers and families and tell you all about what makes our Sharks such an amazing club.

The Ponoka Pool Sharks are looking to add a new Swim Coach to our amazing team for the 2026–2027 season!

If you love working with kids, enjoy swimming, and want to make a positive impact in a fun, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to help young athletes grow in confidence, develop their skills, and be part of an incredible swim community.

Our Sharks are lucky to have some amazing coaches, and we’re excited to welcome another passionate leader to the team! 💙🏊‍♂️

The Ponoka Pool Sharks are absolutely crushing it this weekend at the Kinsmen Sports Centre in Edmonton! 🦈💙🏊‍♂️

Our swimmers are racing hard, making waves, and representing Ponoka with pride in this incredible 50 metre long course pool. We couldn’t be more proud of their effort, determination, and team spirit.

A huge thank you to our amazing coaches for their dedication, encouragement, and for always being the best. We are so lucky to have you leading our Sharks every step of the way. 💙

The Ponoka Pool Sharks are at the Settler Swim Meet today and having an absolute blast. 🦈💙🏊‍♂️

Great swims, big smiles, and of course the kids are loving those candy bags! 🍬 It’s such a fun meet and a great day to be a Shark.

It’s a busy weekend for the Ponoka Pool Sharks. 🦈💙
Half our team is racing in Sherwood Park and the other half is competing in Rocky Mountain House. We feel so lucky to have our Sharks representing the club in two places at once. Swim fast and have fun, team!

Day 2 and our Ponoka Pool Sharks are going strong! 🦈💙

We’re in the water racing hard, cheering each other on, and showing off the incredible team spirit that makes this club so special! Between swims, we’ve also got our eyes on Team Canada in the men’s Olympic gold medal hockey game, so the energy on deck is pretty amazing today.

So proud of our Sharks for their effort, sportsmanship, and the way they support one another. Let's GO!!!

The Ponoka Pool Sharks are hosting our annual Cookie Classic Swim Meet, and it’s a big deal. 🦈🍪💙
Come on by and cheer on our Sharks as they race their hearts out.

We’re also selling Shark Raffle tickets with some amazing prizes donated by our local community. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Grab a few, support the team, and you could win something awesome!

This is Day 2 of the swim meet in Red Deer at the Michener Centre and the Ponoka Pool Sharks are making serious waves! We were here yesterday and we’re back today, and our swimmers are showing up strong.
So many Sharks are shaving time off their events, racing hard, cheering each other on and having an absolute blast together as a team!
Proud of our Sharks and the energy on deck this weekend! 🙌
