What we believe:
• Fundamental movement and physical literacy skills are an integral component of a person’s growth and development.

• Gymnastics develops both basic and advanced movement skills that form the core of sport and activity in general. Gymnastics is a springboard to all other sports.

• The activity of gymnastics should be fun and accessible to participants of all ages and abilities.


• Children can experience success, gain an increased sense of self-esteem, learn the importance of determination and perseverance, discover how to set and achieve goals, and develop positive life skills through the activity of gymnastics.

Congratulations to all our incredible athletes who competed at the Canadian National Championships in Oshawa, Ontario this past weekend! We are so proud of you — you represented Team BC and DGS with such heart and excellence.

A huge thank you to our amazing chaperones for making sure our athletes had an unforgettable experience, and to the entire Team BC delegation — coaches, judges, and athletes — for creating such a supportive and inspiring environment. We are so grateful!
