To promote the game of youth softball/baseball in a fun and positive manner.

A non-profit organization to help promote the game of youth baseball and youth softball. CMBA believes that all children should have the chance to learn, practice and enjoy the sport of softball/baseball in a safe and fun manner. This enjoyment will lead to an active lifestyle and a social outlet and sport that they can enjoy for most of their lives.

🥎 JOIN THE CRANBROOK MINOR BALL ASSOCIATION BOARD! 🥎

Are you passionate about supporting youth sports in our community? Cranbrook Minor Ball Association is currently seeking an Umpire in Chief to join our Board of Directors!

This important volunteer role helps ensure our baseball and softball seasons run smoothly by:
✅ Help scheduling umpires for games
✅ Finding replacement umpires when needed
✅ Assisting with organizing umpire clinics at the beginning of the season
✅ Supporting the development of new and returning umpires

No previous board experience is required—just a willingness to help and be part of a great team dedicated to providing positive experiences for local athletes.

📍 Location: Kinsmen Quad Parks
1600 Willowbrook Drive, Cranbrook, BC
🕘 Arrival Time: Please arrive by 9:45 AM
When you arrive, head to Quad 1 and find your division banner—that’s where your team will gather.
A few important reminders:
• Dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.
• If your team has a game after the ceremony, please leave your gear in your vehicle (no need to bring it to the ceremony).
• Coaches – please arrive by 9:30 AM to help organize teams.
We can’t wait to see everyone there as we kick off another great CMBA season! ⚾🎉

The Cranbrook Minor Ball Association is excited to host the BC Minor Coaches Caravan on May 3 at Confederation Park — and it’s FREE for players and parents to attend!
This is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun with experienced coaches.
Session Times:
🟢 7U & 9U Divisions: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
🔵 11U & 13U Divisions: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
What to Bring:
⚾ Your glove
🪖 Batting helmet
👟 Runners or cleats
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents are encouraged to attend and learn alongside the players! It’s a fantastic way to kick off the season and support your athlete’s development.
