Club Aviva Gymnastics club located in Coquitlam, BC with recreational, developmental, and competitive WAG & TG

In 1985, Vivien Symington saw an opportunity to change the way that gymnastics was taught. After developing her own curriculum focusing on competence and confidence in all athletes, Vivien founded Club Aviva. Since 1986, Club Aviva has had a long history of providing high quality gymnastics lessons to athletes of all ages and skill levels. Now with over 1000 registered athletes in recreational, therapeutic, and competitive programs; Club Aviva is a leader in the field.

We had a special visit this week!

MLA Reann Gasper of Abbotsford-Mission stopped by to tour our facilities and see our programs in person. She is an advocate for youth safety, education, and development!
We had the pleasure of speaking with her and finding common interests regarding inclusivity, equity, and focusing on persons with support needs.

34th Annual Coquitlam Foundation Awards Night!🎉🥳

Thank you to the Coquitlam Foundation for hosting another great evening in celebrating grants, bursaries and scholarships in the City of Coquitlam!

The Symington Endowment Fund was established by Vivien Symington to assist children living with autism and other mobility challenges through grants and bursaries for one-to-one therapy and summer camp programs. The fund also supports athletes enrolled in competitive gymnastics and youth-at-risk programs throughout the Tri-Cities area. Thank you to Vivien Symington and Merle Murrin for their endless support!
