Represent Bowden Hi-Way Golf Course at the GolfGT Last Golfer Standing National Tournament!

GolfGT is a Canadian developed app that lets golfers track real-time GPS based scoring and compete in virtual tournaments and head-to-head matches against golfers across the country, no matter which course they're playing on. Learn more at https://golfgt.ca/how-it-works.

Bowden Hi-Way is being given the chance to send one player to represent our course in this year's Last Golfer Standing national tournament, and we want to find that person from our own membership.

Why you should apply: This is a national competition with pure silver prizes on the line. One golfer from Bowden Hi-Way will get the chance to compete head to head against players from courses across Canada for a shot at the title.

How the tournament works:
• Each golf course enters one player
• Open to male, female, junior, and senior golfers
• Head to head play on the GolfGT app
• Format includes Golf Stars LIVE and Golf Stars VIRTUAL
• 9 hole weekly games, with the winner advancing
• Prizes are pure silver
What it takes to apply:
• Player must be at Level 6 on the GolfGT app
• Player must play from the farthest tee box
• Player must be able to hit a golf ball over 150 yards
• Player must be available June 29 to August 16
• Player must consent to photo and video postings
Apply by 10 PM MST on June 28.

Men's and Ladies Open
Sunday August 30th at 10 am.
18 hole shotgun.
Registration from 8:30 am to 9:30 am
$85 per person - non members
$55 per person - members
18 holes of golf (stroke play)
Entry includes golf, a sandwich, prizes, Chinese food buffet, and 50% off one round during the dates of August 22nd to August 29th.
Payment must be received to sign up.
Sign up must be received by August 28th.

A Big Thank You to the Government of Alberta
Bowden Hi-Way Golf Course is pleased to announce the completion of a significant course improvement project, made possible through funding from the Government of Alberta's Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP).
With this support, we were able to complete the final four holes of our cart path project — a long-term infrastructure goal that will improve the playing experience and accessibility of our course for years to come. We also used the opportunity to plant 40 new larch trees this spring, adding to the natural beauty of the course and the surrounding landscape.
We are grateful to the Government of Alberta for recognizing the value of community recreation facilities and for investing in projects like ours. This grant is a meaningful contribution to our course and to the members and guests who enjoy it each season.
We look forward to welcoming you out to enjoy the improvements firsthand.

The course is very wet and lots of branches are down but it has stopped raining and we are open for golf! ⛳️ (still cart path only)
