Yanco-Wamoon Hawks RLFC Welcome to the official Yanco-Wamoon Hawks RLFC page. We are proud to have been established for over 50 years and look forward to a prosperous future.

At Yanco Wamoon RLFC, we work hard to ensure every chance of success for our football teams to reserve their place in the final series each year. We are proud of our past rate of success, which has seen several of our teams achieve final status each year, and are especially proud of our Ladies League Tag team who achieved the Premiership in 2019 for the first time in their team history. It goes wi

thout saying, that it takes a village to run a club of this magnitude and ensure that training and game days run smoothly each week, and we have a great many volunteers and committee members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to achieve this. Founded in the early 1930's , the Wamoon Football Club joined with Yanco in 1970 to form the YANCO WAMOON HAWKS RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB. At its heart, Yanco Wamoon RLFC is first and foremost, a family club.

Today we celebrate all the incredible dads, father figures, grandads and role models who are part of our Yanco Wamoon Hawks family.

From the early morning drop-offs, cheering from the sidelines, helping at training, volunteering around the club and everything in between your support and dedication means more than words can say. 💪🏉

Thank you for being there for our players, our families and our club. The Hawks wouldn’t be what they are without you!

A HUGE congratulations to JOHN WHAREPAPA-RAWIRI, ULAI OTI-LAHOOD, KOBE-JOE VULU, NOA REMUERA, MONIQUE HIGGINS, ANNIE JAMES & PAUL PURCELL on being nominated for a Group 20 Award for the 2026 season! 👏🏽🏆

What an incredible achievement for these individuals and an absolute credit to the hard work, commitment and dedication they have shown throughout the season.
To have 7 people from the Yanco Wamoon Hawks recognised at Group 20 level is something our whole club should be extremely proud of. 🦅

It’s a reflection of the effort being put in across our club, from our players and coaches to our volunteers and everyone who continues to build the Hawks.

What a tough win for the Hawks! 🔥

In hot and challenging conditions, the boys dug deep and got the job done, coming away with a hard-fought 31–16 victory over the Tullibigeal-Lake Cargelligo Sharks. 💪🏉

It wasn’t easy, but the boys showed plenty of grit, determination and composure to get through it.
