UOW Rugby Union Club UOW Rugby Union Club (Mallee Bulls), is a proud junior and senior rugby club in the Illawarra District Rugby Union. The Mallee Bulls have achieved much.

In 1981 it was amalgamated with the Teachers College when that body became part of the University of Wollongong. Rep players have included Peter Sullivan (15 tests 1971 to 1974), Peter Rowles (two tests 1972 and 1974), John Lambie (four tests 1974 to 1976), an

d Mark Giacherri (Australian under 21 in 1991 and Italy in 1994). Premierships have included the 1963, 1964, 1989 and 1993 2nd grade crown, and a 3rd grade premiership in 1976. Importantly, the Club won the Club Championship in 1969, 1971, 1975, 1977 and 2005. The Mallee Bulls won their maiden first grade title in 2006. The year of 2014 was the to be the club's most prominent and successful, with the bulls winning the premiership in the newly created U/20's colts competition, whilst also taking out both the 2nd grade and 1st grade titles.

Congratulations to our very own Paddy Perillo, who is hitting a huge club milestone today - 200 Club Games 🔴⚪️🔵

Anyone that knows Paddy knows that he is at the heart of the Mallee Bulls. Recently awarded with his life-membership, Paddy has been instrumental on and off the field, as a player, coach, and committee member over his time with the club.

From everyone at UOW Rugby, we want to extend the utmost gratitude to Paddy, for everything he has done across his playing journey, and wish him the best of luck in his 200th game against Kiama today 💙❤️
