UPDATE:
Round 3 has been amended. Some changes were required, so please double check your CORRECT time below. The correct matches and times have also been uploaded into Netball Connect.

By this weekend, you'll know your schedule for the rest of the season, for both matches and duties. If you have anything you'd like us to consider, please advise ASAP!

Thanks for your assistance with the duties - we appreciate everyone jumping in and helping. If you're an 8.45am game, please help with setting up the pole covers. If you're an 11.15am game, please assist with packing away the pole covers.

NETSETGO: We can't wait to see you all this Saturday, ready to start your Netball journey! We'll meet on court 8, closest to the playground, ready to start at 9am. We'll need some help setting up the lowered rings on courts 7, 8 and 9 for the 8.45am games.

REMINDER:
* You should have all paid your registration. If you've had any issues, please come and speak to a committee member. If your child's name isn't on the scoresheet, it means they haven't yet been allocated to the team after registering.
* Uniform - your team should all be in a consistent uniform. Please ensure team members are all in the same colours and adhering to the uniform policy.
Any questions? Come and ask any of the committee or team in the clubrooms. We're happy to help!

We are so excited that two of our male Netballers from Wodonga, Darcy Lockhart, 15, and Michael Moylan, 16, were lucky enough to be invited to the Australian Selection Camp in Sydney over the weekend!

"72 Athletes and team officials represented from across the country for 3 days of netball trials.

Mixed, 20/U and 17/U put their best foot forward for a position in an Australian team. If selected, they will travel to Te Awamutu in July for the NZ v AUS Trans Tasman for 2026."

Darcy and Michael are teammates on the netball court, and opposition on the football field, playing for Wodonga Raiders and Wodonga Bulldogs respectively. They're also classmates at school, both attending Catholic College Wodonga.

Well done on this HUGE achievement boys - we're so proud of you for grabbing these opportunities with both hands!

News on final team selection will be published in the coming weeks!

Our Round 2 for Saturday Netball has been updated on Netball Connect.

We've also listed below our duty teams, to help us run the morning. We appreciate all the helpers! 8.45am games need to set up the pole covers, and at the conclusion of the 11.15am, we need those teams to store away.

9am this week - Our NetSetGO legends will be meeting, to chat about the season ahead! That meeting will take place on Court 9, with the fabulous Leah. The program will start on Saturday 16 May.

DON'T FORGET: Netball rules prohibit long nails and jewellery. Nails need to be short (not visible over fingertips), and all jewellery needs to be removed. Please be organised before preparing to take the court, to assist our umpires and respect your opposition.

If you wish to discuss further, please come and speak to a committee member in the clubrooms, well before your scheduled game. :)

Our Wodonga Rep Tournament was a great success on Sunday, and we welcomed 65 teams from 13 Associations/Leagues to Kelly Park.

We thank all our families and volunteers for their generous assistance, as well as our umpires, announcer and first aid team.

Congratulations to the Grand Finalists - you did well in varied weather conditions throughout the day!

Results from the Grand Finals:

U13 Reserves - Yarrawonga Pink 9 def. CADNA White 5.
U13 Champs - Albury Gold 12 def. Yarrawonga Blue 8.
U15 Reserves - Mansfield Gold 11 def. Barellan 14s 10.
U15 Champs - Ovens & Murray 10 def. Wangaratta Aqua 4.
U17 - Ovens & Murray 20 def. Wangaratta Aqua 5.

Our draw is out! Some changes may be pending, so please keep an eye out for any updates.

Reminder: We have our Team Delegates Meeting, for the Coaches, Team Managers, etc, on Wednesday 29 April, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. This is compulsory, and to ensure all teams are aware of duties, expectations, umpiring, etc.

Please bring your Working With Children's Check, and your device ready to check through the Netball Connect App.
