πŸ₯Š A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM WAUCHOPE BOXING πŸ₯Š
We want to bring up an issue that is very close to all of our hearts β€” BULLYING.
Bullying, in any form, whether it happens inside or outside our gym, by students of Wauchope Boxing, will NOT be tolerated.
We live in a world where everyone is different. We all come from different backgrounds, have different experiences, personalities, abilities and challenges. That is what makes our community unique.
We expect our members to show kindness, respect, compassion and understanding towards everyone.
Our gym will not be a place where bullying is accepted, ignored or brushed aside. If a child is involved in bullying, it will be addressed. No ifs, no buts.
Our committee, coaches, parents and members stand together with a strict no-bullying policy.
We ask all parents and carers to please have conversations with your children about bullying β€” what it looks like, how it affects people, and the impact it can have not only on an individual, but on their families and our entire community.
As a boxing club, we teach discipline, respect, strength and resilience. Real strength is lifting people up, not tearing them down.
Let's make Wauchope Boxing a place where every child feels safe, welcome, respected and supported.
❀️ Love will always win, and hate has no place at Wauchope Boxing. ❀️
πŸ₯Š Be kind. Be respectful. Be someone who makes a difference.

Important Notice – New Training Procedures

From next week, we will be introducing a new process to help the club run smoothly and meet our insurance and safety requirements.

- All payments must be verified with Rudy, Cass, or Will.
- Sign-in sheets must also be completed at the same time.
- Entry into the gym will only be permitted once both of these steps have been completed.

For our Wednesday children's classes, all children who are not participating in training must remain with their parent or guardian at all times.

No children are to be on or near the gym equipment or the new boxing ring. These are all new, and if anything is damaged, the cost of repair or replacement will be the responsibility of the person responsible or the parent/guardian of the child involved.

If one of our volunteers or another responsible adult asks a child to move away from an area or return to their parent or guardian, we ask that they do so immediately. Parents, please remind your children that these directions are given for their safety and should be followed without argument.

As volunteers, we are here to provide a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for everyone. We ask that all members and families treat our volunteers with respect. Back talk, arguing, or disrespectful behaviour towards volunteers is not acceptable. We are simply doing our best to keep everyone safe and ensure everyone can enjoy their time at the club.

Most importantly, this is a significant safety issue. We all want to ensure that every child is safe and that no one is injured from something that can be prevented.

Please remember that we are all volunteers who give our time because we care about this club and want to see it continue to grow and succeed. We appreciate everyone's understanding, cooperation, and support in helping us create a safe, respectful, and successful environment for all members.

Important Notice – Active Kids Vouchers

As a committee, we would like to advise all parents that, at this stage, we are not registered to accept Active Kids vouchers.

We understand that accepting these vouchers would make things easier for many families, and we appreciate your understanding while this is not available.

If you have listed an Active Kids voucher as payment for your registration or class fees, please speak with a committee member as soon as possible so we can arrange an alternative payment option.

Thank you for your cooperation and ongoing support.

Important Reminder – Training Conditions

A condition of training on any of our training nights is that all members must sign in and check in with a trainer to confirm that their training fees have been paid before participating.

We are seeing great attendance at training, however we've noticed that the number of people training does not match our sign-in records or payments. To ensure our records are accurate and the club can continue to operate, everyone must sign in and verify their payment each session.

Parents: Unless prior arrangements have been made, parents or guardians are required to remain at the gym while their child is training.

Any children who are not participating in training must stay with their parent or guardian at all times and must not use the gym equipment or enter the boxing area.

For insurance and safety purposes, these conditions must be adhered to at all times. Failure to comply may result in members being unable to participate in training.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe, well-run club.
