The Assassins are flipping the script and bringing the derby to them this time!
Hosting Camp Carnage on their own turf up the coast, CARD are creating opportunities not just for their own skaters, but for regional teams across QLD to come together, compete, and connect.
Known for their fierce hits, laid-back coastal vibe, and commitment to growing the sport locally, the CARD are proving that great derby doesn’t just happen in the cities, it thrives in the regions too.

A massive thank you to all the legends who showed up to our Come & Try / New Skater Intake Night this week. Whether you laced up skates for the very first time, dusted off an old pair, or just came along to see what derby is all about — we’re stoked you rolled through our doors.

And an extra loud WELCOME to our newest members who have officially joined the Port Macquarie Roller Derby League family! You’ve taken the first step into a sport that’s tough, empowering, a little chaotic, and packed full of the best humans you’ll ever meet.

We can’t wait to see your skills grow, your confidence build, and to spend the year smashing goals (and maybe a few hips) together on track.

PMRDL is hosting their first come and try night of the year! Packed with eight wheeled fun, amazing people and new challenges and experiences... Roller derby is where its at!

No experience...no problems! Our keen and experienced coaches will teach you from the very basics. Even if you love skating but you're unsure about being a team skater we've got time, space and positions for you with Port Macquarie Roller Derby League.

2026 is officially warming up and we’re ready to lace up, hit hard, and make questionable life choices on eight wheels again.

🖤 AGM – Tuesday Jan 27
For our 2025 crew rolling into 2026, this is your “be an adult for a minute” night. Important stuff, big plans, derby chaos pending.

💥 First skate back – Tuesday Feb 3
Returning skaters, it’s time to shake off the cobwebs, find your edges, and remember how to stop (mostly).

👀 New skaters – keep those peepers peeled
Our first intake night of the year is coming early March-ish. Exact date dropping soon… and yes, we’re as excited as you are.
