The cold, rainy weather rolling into June makes it the perfect excuse to slow down, stay cosy indoors, and finally tackle a little life admin.

One of the most important things to review from time to time is your estate planning.

Congratulations to the 12 WNC teams who have made it through to netball finals - the Dingoes, Brolgas, Emus, Lyrebirds, Cockatoos, Herons, Kestrels and Falcons and a special shout out to our Kangaroos, Magpies, Kookaburras, Parrots and Sandpipers who all finished top of the ladder!!

Well done to the Wallabies who didn’t make it this time but have played hard all season.

There is no netball this weekend, so enjoy your King’s Birthday break.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Templestowe courts on Saturday 13th June for the Semi Finals (and the remaining fixtured rounds for 9&U and 11&U teams).

As National Volunteer Week came to a close last week, we saw many local volunteers were celebrated for their contributions at the Menzies Community Volunteer Awards hosted by member for Menzies, Gabriel Ng.

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate Warrandyte Lions Club member Roseanne Gay for her nomination, and the acknowledgment of her significant contributions to the Warrandyte Riverside Market through her dedicated volunteer service, managing car parking operations.

We are lucky enough to see and work with Roseanne each month when WNC volunteers help run the parking for the market. All funds raised through the car parking at the monthly market are distributed back into our community through various grants and sponsorship initiatives.

Well done Roseanne, we love your work!! Volunteering at its finest. ❤️🤍❤️
