A big win for our 2nds that puts them in the prelim next weekend🔥🔥

Lang Puts On Strong Contact Performance As Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 Take The Win Over Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds

Allistaire Lang collected three hits in four at bats, as Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 defeated Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds 12-10 on Saturday at Deakin University - Geelong Waurn Ponds. Allistaire Lang doubled in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 collected 11 hits and Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds 11 in the high-scoring affair.

Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after an error scored one run, Jesse Alldis singled, scoring one run, Allistaire Lang doubled, scoring two runs, Alex Hockey singled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.

Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 extended their early lead with four runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles by Allistaire Lang and Alex Hockey.

Brayden Marsh began the game for Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds. The right-handed pitcher gave up 11 hits and 12 runs (eight earned) over six innings, striking out one and walking four. Thomas Rome appeared in relief for Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026.

Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 amassed 11 hits in the game. Alex Hockey led Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 with four runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Geoff Rome collected two hits for Bellarine Bears 2’s 2026 in four at bats.

Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds accumulated 11 hits in the game. Brayden Marsh, Jarrod Hosking, and Lionell Sexton each collected two hits for Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds. Jake Warren and Lionell Sexton each drove in two runs for Deakin Baseball Club 2026 2nds.

Weekend Recap⚾

That’s a wrap on the home & away season for our 1sts, 3rds and 4ths, who all played their final games of the season this weekend!

Our 2nds are still fighting💪 They’re heading into their semi final this Saturday🔥

Our Women fought hard but unfortunately went down to Saints in their semi final❤️‍🩹 We’re so proud of the season you’ve put together!

Our Under 12s also battled it out in their Grand Final against Deakin. Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day, but what an incredible effort to make it all the way to the big dance!🐻

And finally… WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE WEEKEND! 🎉
