Late last week, one of our past members, 25-year-old Nic Bryant, was critically injured in a tragic workplace accident and sadly lost his life.
The Bryant family joined Ocean Beach SLSC well over 20 years ago when Nic was just a baby. Parents Sharon and Scott patrolled for many seasons, while Amber, Sam, Jayda and Nic all came through our nipper program before joining patrols as rookies.
Sharon was a highly respected Patrol Captain and, as a family, they were very much involved in lifesaving, competition and club life.
Earlier this year, Sharon was herself involved in an accident and is currently unable to work. Please get behind this family and help give Nic the send-off he deserves.
Nic was passionate about helping young people make better decisions around their health and lifestyle. Even in passing, he has continued to help others through organ donation, with his gift set to change the lives of many families.

The Celebration of Life for Peter Lambeth OAM will be held on Saturday, 9 May at 2pm at Ocean Beach SLSC.

While your presence and support mean the most, the family have requested that in lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a contribution in honour of Pete, all proceeds received will go towards continuing the amazing lifesaving community education programmes Pete was so passionate about.

On behalf of Ocean Beach SLSC we wish to congratulate OB Member Jodie Mead on her amazing results in the recent Swimming Australian Age Championships and for being selection as a Junior Dolphin for the Australian Pan Pac Team. Awesome stuff Jodie.
