Hey SBMC crew,

Welcome back to our existing members and welcome to any new members for 2026 with the best longboard club on the coast.

As always, our comps will run on the second Sunday of every month. If we need to postpone due to bad weather or poor conditions, the makeup comp will be on the last Sunday of the month.

We’re kicking off our first comp for the year this Sunday the 15th of February, and we’d love to see you all down there.

Registration for the 2026 season is now open. Here’s how to sign up:
1. Go to https://liveheats.com/shellybeachmalibuclub
2. Log in to your LiveHeats account or create one
3. If needed, search “Shelly Beach Malibu Club”
4. Click “Join Shelly Beach Malibu Club as a Member”
5. Enter your details
6. Select your division

Divisions:
A Division – Intermediate to advanced surfers
B Division – Beginner to intermediate surfers
Junior Division – Under 18, now free. Juniors can also enter A or B
Women’s Division – Women of all levels
Masters Division – Over 55, all skill levels welcome

You can enter multiple divisions if you like. Juniors should select the Junior division first to secure the discount.

New members: use code NEW50 at checkout for 50% off your first year.
Life members: use code LIFE50 for your 50% discount.

All surfers will also be placed in the mystery division, drawn each comp day.

Enter your payment details and you’re all set for a year of fun, sun, and good company.

WE ARE POSTPONING OUR MARCH COMP.

You’ve all been past in the last few days, looks horrible haha and the forecast looks like much of the same for tomorrow so we have decided to postpone our march comp until the end of the month!

The makeup comp will be held on the 29th of March.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay! Our 2025 season rego is now live! Jump onto Liveheats now to register! 2025 season starts this Saturday the 8th of February! More info incoming soon regarding Saturday! Make sure you register prior to the day! Heat draw will be released on Saturday morning. Meet at 7am at Shelly Beach and stay tuned to social media for updates over the next few days for more info! A NEW Masters division has been added for those of you over 55! We are looking forward to more fun and waves with returning members and are very excited and stoked to welcome new members! If you have questions or any queries please contact us via DM or email!
