You build it by showing up anyway.

Most people think confidence is something you magically gain before you walk into a gym.

It’s not.

Confidence is built after the uncomfortable workouts.
After walking into the weights section feeling awkward.
After learning exercises you suck at in the beginning.
After showing up on the days you almost talked yourself out of it.

Nobody starts confident.

The people you look at now and think “I wish I had their confidence” were once beginners too.

Confidence is built through action, repetition and proving to yourself over and over again that you can do hard things.

Did you know we have an in house sports massage therapist at Peak Physique?

Sports massage isn’t just for elite athletes.

If you train hard, sit at a desk all day, work a physical job, feel tight and stiff or constantly carry soreness that never fully goes away, your body is already telling you it needs recovery work.

Sports massage can help:
• Speed up recovery
• Reduce muscle soreness and tightness
• Improve mobility and movement
• Prevent overuse injuries
• Help the body recover properly after training
• Support rehab when returning from injury

Sessions may include:
• Deep tissue work
• Trigger point therapy
• Myofascial release
• Stretching and mobilisation

Timing matters too.

Pre event → prepare the body for performance
Post event → reduce soreness and improve recovery
Maintenance → keep muscles healthy and mobile

Aftercare is important:

What can I say!

Some people just come into your life and you know right away they are your people ❤️❤️

walked into our gym 7 weeks ago, she was so down to earth, and I knew from the moment I met her, she was going to fit in so well with the Strong Her Squad Ladies.

She came in with the goal of building some strength and fitness before going in her big Europe trip. She hadn’t been consistent with training for a while and wanted to build confidence and a routine before she left.

This morning she told me I had changed her whole perception of the gym and she feels so comfortable now even training around men. Being apart of Peak Physique and The Strong Her Squad has given her the knowledge and kick start she needed to continue training while she’s travelling

Even when I went to Bali, she still came in with the girls and kept up her routine in the early hours of the morning.

And today was her last session with us. She has been an absolute pleasure to coach and we are going to miss her so much.

Have fun on your trip and we can’t wait to you’re back in Umina training with us ❤️❤️
