🌪️ JUNIOR TOUCH IS BACK! 🌪️

Junior Touch returns Tuesday 15 September, with games kicking off from 5:15pm! (Exact timeslots TBC) 💚💛

⚠️ Team registrations close Wednesday 9 September so we can finalise the draw.

🏉 Teams require a minimum of 8 registered players.
🏉 Already have a team? Search for your team and register directly.
🏉 Don’t have a team? Register as an individual and we’ll help place you into a team.

Please don’t register into a random team, as they may already be full.

📅 Season runs 15 September – 8 December, with a short break over the school holidays.

🚨 IMPORTANT – PLAYER & REFEREE COMPLIANCE 🚨

All teams and players need to take note of the following requirements across ALL competitions. These will be enforced from this point forward.

PLAYER REGISTRATIONS
All players MUST be registered before taking the field. Field checks will be conducted throughout the season.

Any unregistered player will be removed from the field, and teams found playing unregistered players will lose competition points.

REFEREE DUTIES
We currently have very few non-playing referees available. This means every team MUST fulfil their allocated refereeing duties.

Teams that fail to provide a referee without adequate reasoning will lose competition points. A team that fails to fulfil its refereeing duties three times will be removed from the competition.

We are also urgently seeking additional referees. Anyone interested will be trained, mentored and paid. Please contact us if you or someone you know can assist.

Please ensure your team is organised. Registration and refereeing responsibilities are not optional and will be enforced from next week.

We’re ready to kick off Round 1 of our Wednesday Men’s & Women’s competitions tomorrow night! 💚💛

🚨 REGISTRATION – PLEASE READ! 🚨

We need everyone to make REGISTRATION A PRIORITY before taking the field.

👉 If you are playing, you need to be registered.

Please don’t leave it to your team organiser to chase you up. Jump online and get your registration completed ASAP. Having everyone registered is essential for insurance, competition administration and keeping our draws running smoothly.

⚠️ Teams also need to ensure they have enough registered players to remain in the competition. If you have teammates who haven’t registered yet, please get onto them today!

🌪️ DO YOU WANT TO REPRESENT THE TORNADOES? 🌪️

Forster Tuncurry Touch Association is calling for Expressions of Interest from players keen to represent the Tornadoes at the 2026 Senior State Cup! 💚💛

📍 Port Macquarie
📅 4–6 December 2026

We’re seeking EOIs for:

🏉 Men’s 20
🏉 Mixed Open
🏉 Senior Mixed (O/30)
🏉 Mixed Masters (O/40)

📧 HOW TO EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST

• Your name
• Division of interest
• Any previous representative experience

✅ Players must be financial members of either the 2026 Season 1 or Season 2 FTTA competitions to be eligible.

⚠️ Teams can only be entered where we have the required coaching staff and referees. Please note that our Senior Mixed (O/30) division is currently seeking a coach.

Depending on numbers, trials may be required, and all selected players MUST attend training sessions as set by their coach.

Whether you’ve represented the Tornadoes before or you’re looking to pull on the rep jersey for the first time, we’d love to hear from you!

Our Season 2 Monday Mixed competition kicks off tomorrow night, Monday 17 August, with the first games starting at 6:00pm.

A reminder to all teams to please check the draw carefully, including your refereeing duties. If your team is listed to referee, please make sure you have someone ready to go. We also still have a number of players who need to register, please ensure this is done as registration checks will be conducted from next week.
