That’s one step closer to the ultimate prize for our senior Tigerettes and our under 15/16 Tigers as well as the end of a great season for our under 13’s.

Our valiant under 13’s went down one goal to two to the Halliday’s Point Barracudas in a nail biter yesterday in their elimination final. This is definitely a team to watch for the future as they continue to target that elusive grand final! Well done to all players and a big thank you from the club to the coaches, managers and parents!

Our under 15/16’s have made their intentions plain with a convincing three nil win over the Wingham Warriors in their final! Dominating across the park our Tigers were relentless in attack and strong in defence to set themselves up for a huge Grand Final next weekend! The stage is set for a BIG one next week!

Our senior ladies, the Tigerettes shocked everyone on Friday night by not only beating last years A grade Premiers and heavy favourites the Cundletown Jets but by also putting 5 goals in against a team they’d never beaten before. The game started with Cundle controlling play for the first 10 minutes but then some great build up play saw a brilliant thru ball to their speedy striker to slot home the first goal of the match.

This seemed to shell shock the confident Jets and boost the Tigerettes who then went on to put 3 more goals past the Jets keeper in fairly quick succession. A late goal mouth scramble saw the Tigerettes go into the break leading 4-1.

The second half started the same as the first with Cundle now throwing everything at the Tigerettes but again, speed up front proved the difference with Val Mars getting first to a high ball to nod her fourth of the night over the advancing keeper!

The Tigerettes midfield and defence were relentless in closing the Jets down for the next 20 minutes creating frustration and desperation! Our girls left everything on the park and were visibly out on their feet in the dying minutes when cundle were able to salvage two late consolation goals! But the damage was done! The Tigerettes had already done enough to move into the coveted Grand Final in their first year in A grade!

Stay tuned for details on the under 16 and Senior Ladies Grand Finals soon!

Well done everyone, the club is super proud of you all! 💛🐅🖤

OUR 16s HAVE DONE IT!

A convincing 3-0 win over the Wingham Warriors sees this amazing team now progress thru to the Grand Final next week!

Stay tuned for a full wrap up of all our finals match this week!

Well done team, YOU ROCK!

It’s all sudden death football this Saturday when our junior a Tigers take to the field in the under 13 and under 16 elimination finals!

Our under 13’s take on Halliday’s Point after narrowly going down last week in their major semi. The Tigers finished slightly ahead of the Barracudas on the ladder and have been successful in their three previous encounters but all were very close results and this is finals football so it’s all on the line for both teams this week!

Our under 16 team continue to punch above their weight this year and have been rewarded with a finals birth after their close win in the elimination semi last week. Made up of mainly 14 and 15 year olds this team is now only one win away from making the grand final in the older Under 16 age group! They meet Wingham who finished slightly ahead of our Tigers on the ladder but both teams have come away with a close win on the two occasions they have met this year!

It’s all or nothing when our Tigers play for a spot in the Grand Final so get out there this Saturday and support them!

Good luck everyone 💛🐅🖤

It’s do or die this Friday night in the A Grade Women’s Elimination Final!

The TFFC Tigerettes take on last years A Grade Premiers, the Cundletown Jets at Omaru Park in Taree with kick off at 8.30pm.

The Jets have played in pretty much every grand final in recent memory and are recognised competition heavyweights finishing the 2026 season in equal first on points only to be edged out on goal difference by the Taree Leopards who have already progressed to the Grand Final after beating Cundle last week in the Major Semi.

This is the first season in the A grade competition for this particular Tigerettes team who have been steadily growing in ability and confidence over the last few years. They finished third on the ladder this season, a good 12 points behind the Jets.

The teams have already met twice this year with the Jets ending the victors on both occasions.

However belief is strong within the Tigerettes camp so anything is possible!

Either way the stage is set for a big one so get down and support our girls!

💛🐅🖤

A big thank you to Great Lakes Aquatic and Leisure Centre and to our very own Tigerettes Supermum To Be, Beth (can you believe she’s 6 months already? She still looks ready to play!) for putting our girls through a much needed recovery session tonight!

Beth took the team through a tailored stretching program after their tough 100 minutes of football on Friday night then the girls sat through a game debrief and strategy meeting before resting sore muscles in the spa, sauna and pool.

Thanks again Great Lakes Aquatic Centre for accomodating us at such short notice, you guys are the best!

Stay tuned for details on their do or die finals fixture on Friday night along with finals of our under 13s & 16s on Saturday. 💛🐅🖤

Thanks Gemma and Malcom!

We experienced first hand what working on the mental, and not just physical, side of preparation can do in the crunch moments of big games like this!

After losing a 2 nil lead with just 10 minutes to go and with all the momentum shifted to the opposition our girls were able to utilise the tangible tools you gave them earlier in the week to help them mentally overcome the disappointment of not securing the result in normal time.

You could see their demeanour change in the huddle before extra time when remembering and using these tools.

They then went out and played the best 20 minutes of football we’ve seen all season.

For any club or coach wanting that mental edge for their team there are no words that do Talent Unlocked justice highly enough! Thanks again Gemma and Malcolm, you guys are the best! 💛🐅🖤

3 out of 4 Tigers teams keep their hopes alive after some nail biting finals matches this weekend!

Our under 13s went down 2-4 against competition favourites Great Lakes but have played so well all year that they put themselves into a position to get a second chance next week in the final!

Our predominantly under 15 teams who are playing in the under 16 finals series beat the Taree Jaguars 1-0 in an intense encounter to keep their hopes alive and now move to the elimination final next week for a chance to play in the Grand Final!

Our under 18 Youth team were galant in defeat going down 1-3 also against the Taree Jaguars! After a tumultuous year this team has stayed tough together and represented the club admirably! Well done and thank you to all the players, coaches and supporters!

Our senior ladies team, the Tigerettes, showed true grit and character to finish their elimination semi final 4-2 victors in extra time after giving away an initial 2 nil lead! The first time in the A grade competition for this team the Tigerettes now take on last years A grade Premiers, the Cundletown Jets in next weeks Elimination Final! This Tigerettes team has never beaten these competition heavyweights but no one gave them a chance to get this far so anything is possible!

It’s ALL OR NOTHING for our 13s, 16s and Ladies next week so stay tuned for match details to come soon!
