Our first official year, done and dusted, and what a wonderful year it’s been! 🐴

A year filled with learning, new friendships, plenty of fun and some fantastic memories. As we look back on our first year, here are just a few of the highlights:

🌟 Riding lessons: Our members had the opportunity to develop their riding and horsemanship skills with lessons from the incredibly talented Chelsea Webb and Creig Anthony Flew. A huge thank you to you both for generously giving your time and sharing your knowledge with our club.

🐴 Horse First Aid Information Session: A fantastic way to spend a wintery Sunday! A huge thank you to Steph Papalia and Tumut Veterinary Clinic for making this session possible. Our members and non-members who attended gained a wealth of valuable knowledge.

🏆 HRCAV competitions: Congratulations to our members who have been out there representing the club and competing in HRCAV events. Well done, Melissa Curll, Jess Edwards and Cody Flew!

🌿 Rally days and trail rides: Plenty of enjoyable rally days, one in conjunction with Tumut pony club. Enjoyable trail rides and opportunities to learn, connect and enjoy time with our horses and fellow members.

None of this would have been possible without the support of so many wonderful people. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing members, their families who provide such invaluable support, and everyone who has contributed to making our first year such a success.

A very special thank you to Tumut RDA for allowing us to use their wonderful grounds and facilities. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

What a fantastic start to our club’s journey! Here’s to many more years of learning, friendship, fun and adventures together. 💚🐎

Load up the float, bring your horse, and come experience a club that puts the fun back into horse ownership, helping you grow your confidence in a supportive environment!

Whether you have a green young horse, a new equine partner, or you are simply looking to polish your skills in a low-pressure environment and enjoy yourself, our club provides the perfect space to learn alongside your own horse.
We understand that every horse-and-rider bond is a work in progress. Our members support each other through every milestone, big or small. Learn at your own pace, building confidence, refining your aids, and improving your communication with your horse. We focus on safe horsemanship, foundational skills, and having fun in the saddle.
No pressure to compete but if this is the path you wish to follow, opportunities exist in many disciplines through our club.

Come and join us, we believe riding is about more than time in the saddle—it's about building friendships, developing your skills, supporting one another and enjoying your horse in a positive environment.
