Position Vacant: Tumut Turf Club Course Curator
The Tumut Turf Club is looking to employ a Casual Curator for the Tumut Race Course.
The position will be, approximately 10hrs per week from October to February each year.
Duties: Maintaining the course to a suitable standard for 4 race meetings a season, including mowing, watering, fertilising, repairing as needed,
maintaining running rail and outside fencing and and assisting volunteers with any other tasks required
to maintain the course.
About You: We are looking for someone with a background and/or experience in Horticulture, greenkeeping, parks & gardens or similar. Experience in irrigation maintenance and use as
well as experience in driving tractors, mowers and the use of spreaders, airators etc. Knowledge of the racing industry as well as an interest in community events and a willingness
to get in and help with tasks outside of the primary role.
