Always grateful. Making a Grand Final is never an easy task.
Going up against some of the best teams in Melbourne and holding our own all season is something we can be proud of. To our neighbours Werribee Bears Rugby League Sports Club Inc. … It wasn’t our night, but it was definitely yours. Congratulations on taking out both the Women’s 1st grade and 2nd Grade Men’s Grand Finals. Well deserved.
To all our Senior players, thank you for putting your bodies on the line week in and week out. You represent this club with pride, not just on the field, but off it too. We’re proud to have you wearing the Rabbitohs jersey, and grateful for everything you’ve given to the club this season. You’ve represented the Burrow the right way.
To our families and friends, thank you for being there every week. The early mornings, late nights, travel, sideline support and everything in between. Our players don’t do this alone, and neither does this club. You are a massive part of what makes the Rabbitohs family what it is.
And to our coaches, managers and everyone working behind the scenes, thank you for everything you do. So much happens away from the field that people don’t always see, and we appreciate every bit of it.
Two Senior Grand Finals, two teams giving it everything, and a season we can be proud of.
The result might not have gone our way, but we’ll always be proud of the way our people represented the Bunnies.
