Calling all little superstars aged 5–8 years 🌟
If your child is keen to learn cricket in a fun, safe and exciting way, Woolworths Cricket Blast is the perfect start!

What is Cricket Blast?
It’s a fun-first program designed for kids to build skills through exciting activities, simple games, smiles, and lots of high-fives 🙌

📅 Program Schedule:

* Starts in November
* 4 sessions in Nov
* 4 sessions in Feb
* Total: 8 sessions

This is a great way for kids to make friends, stay active, and fall in love with cricket 🏏💙

🏏🔥 ANOTHER WIN FOR OUR MCA U11 BOYS! 🔥🏏

What a season these boys are having! 💙🧡

Another Sunday, another win for our MCA U11 team, taking their record to an impressive 8 wins from 9 games! 👏👏

The team delivered another strong all-round performance, contributing with the bat, ball and in the field. It’s been amazing to see the boys continue to grow in confidence, teamwork and fighting spirit every single week. 💪

A special shoutout to Jaiaan, who was once again named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance:

That’s now his 4th Player of the Match award for the tournament — what a fantastic achievement! 👏⭐

🏏💙🧡 Girls Cricket – Start Local. Dream Big. 🧡💙🏏

For any parents or young girls wondering “Where can cricket take me?” — this pathway gives a really clear picture of how girls can start, develop and progress through the game.

The journey can begin with Woolworths Cricket Blast, then move into Junior Girls / Mixed Competitions, followed by NWMCA Social Women’s cricket, and from there into more competitive VTCA pathways, representative cricket, Victorian Premier Cricket and Victorian Premier U18s.

What we love about this pathway is that there is a place for girls at every stage — whether the goal is simply to have fun and make friends, build confidence and skills, play competitive cricket, represent the region, or aim for the highest level possible.

At Mambourin Cricket Club, we want more girls to start their cricket journey with a goal in mind and know that there is a pathway available for them to keep progressing. 🏏✨

If your daughter has ever thought about trying cricket, this is a great time to get involved. You don’t need to know how far the journey will go — you just need to take the first step.

What a fantastic effort by our team — 7 wins from 8 games! 🏏🔥💙

Our 8th game on 16th August ended with another brilliant win, and we couldn’t be prouder of this amazing group of young players. Every player played their part, showed great teamwork, and fought hard till the very end. 👏

A very special shoutout to Jaiaan, our Player of the Match, for an outstanding all-round performance with 33 runs, 1 wicket, and 1 run-out. What a superb effort! 🌟🏆

We would also like to say a big thank you to Coach Jay for all his hard work, dedication, and continuous effort in guiding and supporting the team. Your commitment and encouragement are making a real difference, and we truly appreciate everything you do for the players. 🙌💙

Let’s keep supporting each other, stay focused, and continue building momentum as we get closer to the knockout rounds.

🏏 BIG NEWS, MCC FAMILY! 🦁💙🧡

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Kishore as the new Head Coach of Mambourin Cricket Club!

Kishore brings with him a wealth of cricketing experience, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for helping players grow both on and off the field.

Originally from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and now based in Manor Lakes, Kishore has been in Australia for around 18 years and is a proud family man with his lovely wife and two beautiful kids, Trinay and Snitika.

His cricket journey started from a young age, and he has:
🏏 Represented Coimbatore District 3rd Division U16 during his school days
🏏 Coached WRJCA U12 Boys Representative Cricket at the VMCU Carnival in 2019 and 2020
🏏 Played for Altona North in VTCA C1 for 10+ years
🏏 Served as a Premiership Captain for 3 years
🏏 Played at the high level of VTCA Championship Seconds

What excites us even more is Kishore’s vision for MCC:

“At Mambourin, I am looking forward to a journey where we all can learn, grow and become whom we want to be on and off the field.”

This is exactly what MCC is all about — development, community, culture, and creating opportunities for every player to thrive.
