Notice to Members

The Annual General Meeting was adjourned due to inappropriate behaviour from some members, which prevented the meeting from proceeding in an orderly manner.

Although discussions continued informally, the AGM cannot be conducted or decisions made without the presence of the Club Secretary, as required under the Club’s governance framework.

The Club will reconvene the AGM at a later date, which will be communicated to all members in due course.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Any instance of non-receipt may be the result of external factors outside the Club’s control, such as spam filtering, full inboxes, or changes to email addresses not advised to the Club - whatever the case may be.

🤸‍♀️ R O U N D 9 - G E T A C T I V E K I D S 🤸

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is opening at 10am on 15 October 2025 for voucher applications!

Applications will be closing 13 November or earlier if the budget allocation is fully exhausted.

Eligible members can apply for a $200 voucher to use until the voucher expires on 31 December 2025 - registrations will open early December.

Members will need to select our club when applying for a voucher. We are unable to cancel or reissue vouchers to a different activity provider once the voucher has been issued.

The following code will help you find our club when you apply - 2931335.

To be eligible, a child/dependant must be aged 0 to 18 years old, live in Victoria, and one of the below:
• Named on a Health Care Card and Medicare Card.
• Named on a Pensioner Concession Card and Medicare Card.
• Hold either a temporary, provisional or student visa, or be an undocumented migrant.
• Reside in Victorian Care Services.

We are now accepting nominations for the General Committee for the 2026 season.

Commitment and dedication are essential. As a committee member, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Attending general committee meetings.
• Supporting and assisting at club events.
• Contributing at home games.

Please note:
• Executive roles will be considered based on previous experience and are only available to members who have held a position on our General Committee or similar for 12–24 months (as resolved & minuted at last year’s AGM).
• Shadowing and delegation of members will be encouraged to help develop future committee leaders.
• Members who have previously abandoned roles will not be considered.
