We would like to welcome Ashton Wright to the sharks for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
Ashton is a top/middle order left hand bat who bowls right arm leg spin.

At 19 years of age Ashton has previously had a stint with premier district side Casey south melbourne, captained the under 16 Gippsland Pride team and played senior cricket with Rosedale-Kilmany.

Ashton is the cousin of one of our young gun’s Fletcher Graham which will be fantastic to see them line up together in the sharks colours.

Good luck for the season Ashton and we look forward to seeing you out on the park this season.

We would like to welcome Jaxon Murdoch to the sharks for the 2026/27 season.
Jaxon is a top order bat/wicketkeeper making just under 300 runs last season in premier A grade as a 17 year old.
Jaxon’s eagerness to learn his craft from our senior players shows he has a good head on his shoulders made for senior cricket.
His leadership qualities at a young age are a perfect fit for our club moving forward to add to the young guns coming through our system.

We welcome Jax and look forward to seeing him in the shark colours this season.

***CAPTAIN/COACH ANNOUNCEMENT***

It is with great pleasure to announce that Rick Battista will be taking over as A grade captain for the 2026/27 season. Rick will also continue on as our club coach to build from last season.

Rick has won 8 A grade premierships with Ex-Students and played over 200 A grade games. His wealth of knowledge and experience is invaluable and we look forward to seeing Rick lead the A grade side this season.

Rick’s two boys Luca and Jax also represent our junior sides with wife Megan and daughter Soph watching on from the side lines.

We wish Rick all the best for the upcoming season and I’m sure you will have the support of the whole club behind you.

We would like to thank Jimmy Pryde who has stepped down as A grade captain. Jimmy has led the boys for the past four seasons claiming 2 premierships in that time.
Thank you for all your time and effort Jim as we wish you all the best becoming a dad in the next month.
