Yesterday we had 2 races that went well, boats are all good.

Day 2 is shaping up to be a great day with the racing schedule underway.

We are set up and ready for Day 1 of the USA VS AUS & NZ Bad Boat Challenge in the beautiful Berri, South Australia.

Some very hot weather this weekend, but looking forward to a great weekend.

We are back ladies and gents.

After the club day a few weeks ago Tickled Pink had some issues with the drive shaft to the oil pump. A new drive shaft, oil pump, and drive gear, Drew was ready to race again.

Freedom has had the carby cleaned out, some new internals, and a new coil & module as well, ready to go again.

The Glenmaggie Cup is on today and tomorrow if you want to see a great field of boats across all classes.

We will give an update at the end of Day 1 tonight!! 🤙🏻

Ladies and Gentlemen we are back in action for the new season.

Get down to the Glenmaggie and District Boat Club tomorrow for our first club day of the season.

Both boats ran beautifully today with tomorrow shaping up to be a stellar day!!

Tonight we can finally confirm that Drew, the weapon he is, has claimed champion for the 2025 85mph Victorian Championship!

We could not be more prouder of Drew and the work he has put in both on and off the water. Countless hours, days and nights working on the boat, he has truly worked hard for this achievement.

As a person he is a great man, who would do anything for the people that he loves, he is selfless, tough on his kids (only wants them to succeed), and just an outright good person.
In saying that we are stoked for him to be doing something that he loves again, something that fulfills him as a person, which is his boat and speed.

As for Bobby, the legend that he is, has been bumped by his son, which we can only imagine how proud of a father he is tonight. Bob loves to win, and he has seen his fair share of success, but this achievement for Drew, no doubt tops winning races.

From all of us at Reid Racing, we thank our family, all venues, clubs, volunteers, crews, officials, organisers, and our racing mates that allow Bob and Drew to compete.
We thank you for all the hard work you have done and continue to do, without you all it would not be possible.

We will see you all next season!!

A quick update from the Reid Racing Team!

Lake Charm saw Drew with Tickled Pink 2 weekends ago in which he did an outstanding job taking out 2nd place overall for the weekend!

Last weekend saw the whole crew at our home track for the GDBC 70th Birthday. What a lovely day it was, well done to all involved getting it organised. Was also lovely to see so many vintage boats and members boats out for the occasion.

We will see you all in Adelaide soon!!

Lake Eppalock Gold Cup

Drew did an outstanding job this past weekend at the beautiful Lake Eppalock as he finished with an overall 2nd place!

He is really getting comfortable in his seat and showing us what he can do.

On Saturday, Drew finished with a 2nd and a 4th.
On Sunday, Drew finished with a 2nd, 2nd, and a 2nd.

We are extremely proud of Drew for what he has achieved already and how he is handling his boat.

We may be at Berri with Freedom, so if that’s the case we will see you all there!

Update from Lake Eppalock!

Drew and Bob are at the beautiful Lake Eppalock this weekend with Tickled Pink.

Race 1- Drew crossed the line with a 2nd place finish
Race 2- Saw him finish with a 4th place

There will be another update tomorrow when the racing is done!
