Fantastic to see so many people registering for these Info Nights - almost 50 names across all 6 clubs already.
Just as a heads up though - the rooms at the Vine Inn do have maximum seating numbers - and night 1, Tuesday 22nd of September, is already well over half way to being a full house - so get your registration in ASAP!

🏀🏀Big changes are coming!🏀🏀
With some major changes coming to the rules of the game, as well as the terminologies used, to assist in educating everyone (coaching staff, players & spectators) with the changes, Barossa Basketball will be running a total of four (4) ‘Info Sessions’ before the Summer Season begins.
These sessions will not only cover the FIBA changes, but also to all that will be happening going into Summer Season, including the use of a shot clock for the first time in our local competitions (Under 16 & 18 Division 1 only), as well as a heap of information relating to the rules of the game, how the referees are then taught to call the game, and extras like BA’s ‘No Zone’ and the Barossa’s ‘Hands Off Defence’!
All sessions will be held at the Vine Inn Barossa and registering is now open - is essential to ensure there are enough seats – and can be done HERE! https://form.jotform.com/252388464314865

Great to see a Barossa presence at the NBL1 National finals this weekend at the State Basketball Centre here in Adelaide.
Charles Mugford will be taking stats over the weekend, while Louis McKenna will be calling the action on Kayo - congrats to you both!

Huge congratulations to our Barossa Settlers coaches, head coach Ben, Jack and Ashlee on their appointments for the Eastern Mavericks.
To have 3 of our rep coaches coaching Division 1 teams in the Basketball SA Junior District League is a great achievement - and can only benefit our local players going forward!

Aussie Hoops Term 3 2026 registrations now open at www.aussiehoops.basketball

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official basketball development program. It’s a perfect way to introduce your child to the game of basketball. The program caters for children aged 5-10 years, of all skill levels. Come along and have a try!
